Fall Fun!

We took Carson out to enjoy the fall weather at a local pumpkin lot. We loved watching him wander around and take it all in! He seemed mesmerized by all the pumpkins! He also helped us pick out two to bring home for Daddy to carve! We had a fun day and we are really looking forward to dressing him up for halloween this weekend! He's going to be the cutest lion EVER!

P-A-R-T-Y!!!

We all had SO much fun at Carson's 1st Birthday party!! Even though we were sad to have had to cancel his party the weekend before...on his actual birthday, it ended up working out for the best! Everyone was feeling much better this past weekend and the weather was perfect!

Carson turns 1!!!

Our sweet boy turned 1 on Saturday!!! Time has flown by and we cannot believe how much he has grown and changed in the last year!! We had a crazy week leading up to his birthday!! On Tuesday, Cindy came down with the flu! The doctor said it was the swine flu, but that was never officially confirmed...nevertheless, she was cooped up in her bed all week and couldn't be around Carson or Johnathan! Since the flu is so serious, we decided to cancel Carson's party, which was supposed to be here at the house on Saturday afternoon! We were so sad that we couldn't celebrate with everyone, but we knew we were doing the right thing so that no one else got sick! On Saturday, Aunt Christy, Uncle Matt, Drew and Natalie decided to come over for a mini-party! Unfortunately, the party turned bad when Carson decided to projectile vomit on Mommy twice!!! It was so awful! Our poor little birthday boy!! So, that night was spent nursing Carson's fever and making sure he didn't get sick again! He is feeling much better now and we are headed to the doctor today for his 1 year check-up! We'll have more to share later about his visit! We are excited to be preparing for his party this coming Saturday! We can't wait!!

Carson did so well during his first official haircut! We actually have had his hair trimmed once already around Easter time...it was getting so long in the front then so his "Auntie K" trimmed it up for him! We had to get pictures of this time too though! He loved sitting in the airplane and he played with trains and Daddy's blackberry...so he didnt' even realize that his hair was being cut! Our little man is so handsome!!!

Carson is on the verge of walking, but he is still able to move like a wild man! He crawls all over the place and is getting into everything! Everyone keeps saying that once he starts walking he'll really be unstoppable, but we honestly don't see how walking could be much crazier than crawling!! Short update!

We've been pretty busy lately, as you can tell by the lapse in blogs!! We thought we would share a few fun pictures of Carson from the last few weeks! We'll share more later, we promise!

Carson's SECOND Beach Trip!

We have just returned from another great beach vacation! This time, Johnathan was able to go! We joined Nana, Aunt Christy, Uncle Matt, Drew, Natalie, Aunt Sandy, Blaine, Aidan, Great Aunt Dana, and Wendy for a fun week in Gulf Shores! We had some pretty brutal storms while there, unfortunately our canopy was mutilated in the process, but overall the weather was decent. Carson wasn't as fond of the beach this time around, but we think it will grow on him when we aren't so worried about him eating sand! Of course, he still loves the pool, so we spent most of our time with him there! We can't wait for our next trip with Carson...not sure if it will be to the beach or somewhere else...we'll see!
